My mom emailed these jokes to me. I thought they were funny and if you don't....well then get yourself a sense of humor!!! :)




My five-year old students are learning to read.
Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said,'Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!'I took a deep breath, then asked...'What did you call it?'It's a frickin' elephant! It says so on the picture!'
And so it does...

Two brooms were hanging in the closet and after a while they got to know each other so well, they decided to get married. One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom. The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress. The groom broom was handsome and suave in his tuxedo. The wedding was lovely. After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over and said to the groom-broom, 'I think I am going to have a little whisk broom!' 'IMPOSSIBLE !' said the groom broom.

'WE HAVEN'T EVEN SWEPT TOGETHER!'

(Sounds to me like she's ....... ! ......been ....sweeping around!!!

New Friend

Okay, so I figured I ought to blog about this or I'd be hearing it from some of you when you eventually heard about it. So Saturday I made a new friend. His name is Derek. We went out Saturday night...dinner & the ever so scary corn maze! Ok, so we were dying laughing thru the whole maze, but it was fun. We hung out a little on Sunday night & chatted up a storm. I am always amazed at what people did when they were kids. I would never thought of doing half the stuff others think up. Either that shows lack of imagination or a fear of getting into trouble.

I'm sure I would get comments for more details if I don't just put them in now. He's 36, has 2 kids and has lived in the St. George area for a while. This is good for me because he'll probably know some fun stuff to do around here. We both played soccer in high school, snow ski (though I haven't been in ages) and other stuff we have in common. I don't know what else to put here, so if you have the need to know more you can ask.

Thanks Monica for posting yours. It was fun, though I'm not sure who this character is. I'll have to do a little digging as I don't remember her....hope that's not something we have in common....forgettability (is that even a word?) I do however find that it is eerily close to describing me. Is it sad to admit that if I ever get married I want my wedding dress to be from this era? If it is I am sad indeed! haha Even funnier is that the patterns are under Halloween costumes! You gotta love it!
