Okay, so I have to make most of you jealous! The weather has been so beautiful for that past few days. During lunch we sat outside in the wonderful sunshine. I think I've even started my summer tan! You know you're pale when you can get good and red from sitting outside for 30 min. It's been in the 60's and I guess it is supposed to even get up into the 70's by the end of the week. While I enjoy nice weather when you can sit outside in short sleeves & not freeze to death, I am not looking forward to it heating up into the 90's and beyond!
Hope you all have a great week!

Valentine's Date
I was very brave this Valentine's Day and drove all the way to California for a date! Yep, that's me, brave! Ok, so how many of you shouted, "WHAT?" Come on, admit it. You are stunned beyond all belief that I would do something like that. So, this is the story: Wednesday was Michelle's birthday, so I thought I'd show up then to help where I could to make her day a little easier. What I didn't know was that she was in the middle of this crazy fundraiser for Ty's cub scouts. Talk about hectic! I felt so bad for her. She had to fill up balloons with helium, fill bags with candy to go with the balloons, organize deliveries and pick ups and all of this with little outside help. Michelle....you are amazing and CRAZY!!! We were supposed to go out to eat, but Zack ended up bringing fast food home as Michelle had a pack meeting that night. Valentine's day started bright and early, getting Ty off to school and starting again on the valentine grams. I took Lori to her reading class at the library and then delivered a valentine to Zack's work. Things at the Birds were in full swing that afternoon! Some parents showed up to help and were "nice" enough to bring extra kids! The chaos continued for a good 2 hours or more. I helped where I could, but I'm not used to all that confusion & chaos. I was good and stuck around, holding Bryn (the tuff job) and trying to keep her happy. I also felt like I spent all day cutting ribbon! Finally it was all over, Ty got home from baseball practice with Zack and everyone was starving. I had been planning to take the kids out to a fun dinner & get them back home at a decent time, but it was about 8pm by the time we could leave. Lori had been asking questions about the date for the past 2 days. She is so cute and she asks SOOOO many questions. Something else I'm not used to. So here it is....I took Ty and Lori on a big date to none other than WENDYS! Ty wanted a nicer sit down dinner, but Lori insisted that it would be Wendys. I couldn't believe how much Ty ate! I don't know where he puts it all! It was fun though and Zack & Michelle were able to go out to eat as well. I was planning on taking a pic of us before or after our date, but it didn't happen. I did get some pics from Saturday & today. These are some cute kids and they grow up way to dang fast!

So, I know I disappointed many of you...you were hoping I had a hot date with a guy, but don't worry it was a good date, even though I had to pay!

My new place
So here they are, the pics of my new place. Well I only have the guts to show you the outside. I decided I've been working really hard on moving and getting things put away for a couple weeksand wanted to take some time to be a little lazy.

It does snow in St. George! This is Sunday night. It had been raining all day, then snowed for about an hour. This is looking from 400 S.
There's my dirty car in front. You can see my kitchen, skinny entry window & living room windows.
Daylight view of front. The landscaping seems really sad in the winter. Hopefully it will be nice and green in the Spring.
I was going to include a pic of my swollen ankle, but it doesn't look nearly pathetic enough to get any sympathy from anyone, so I opted to leave it out.
